If there is one fashionable piece of clothing that I’d rather not live without, it is a skirt.
Not just any skirt, but a skirt with pockets.
A skirt with which you can put your hands into those much-loved pockets and twirl around and go swish, swish.
A skirt like this lovely, long, black linen number I scored from Anthropologie last week.
It is classy, comfortable. It can be dressed up or dressed down, like I’ve done here by adding a simple, stretchy, black T for only $38 from Free People that I grabbed from a real store this weekend in person.
This outfit, black on black, makes for an easy and stylish Monday statement.
I feel good in it.
I feel stylish in it.
I feel sassy in it (always a plus on a busy Monday). It’s easy dressing.
And I don’t feel like I broke the fashion bank to own it.
Add my gold Big Buckle, lavender Birkenstocks, which I love, and the long, gold Free People earrings I featured a couple of Mondays ago, and I’m ready to stare down this Monday in May.
Comfy, cool, fashionable, affordable, and sassy.
