After living in Birkies all summer long, I’m ready to protect my toes from the cold.
This year, I’ve had my eye on loafers with a block heel.
But I haven’t been able to find a pair with enough pizzaz and budget-friendly qualities to pull the fashion trigger.
Until now.
These $198 black Free People.com Hybrid Harness Boots are stylish, surprisingly comfortable, on fashion trend, and they make me look a little taller without making me cry over blistered feet or walk like a drunken college kid.
I love them. Little-bit ladylike. Little bit rock n’ roll. Silver trim.
I usually wear an 8 1/2 in shoes. I sized up to a 9 for these.
Perfect.
Sassy in all the right ways.
I’ll wear them with jeans, skirts, and dresses this fall and way beyond.

A little pricey, maybe. I’m super happy to have this quality pair in my closet, and I’ve been saving up for them, too. Planning to wear them for a long, long time, so price per wear will be good. Plus, I have a lot of travel coming up this year.
