I’m not usually one of those people that energetically heads out to find post-holidays sales. Not usually my sport.
But this year, this Sassy Fashionista made an exception.
I had a few items to return in person, so I couldn’t help but check out new items while I was in the stores.
I’m talking about Free People, Anthropologie & T.J. Maxx (surprise!!), where I made an impressive fashion haul for under $200! I’m saving that significant fashion-bounty share for my next blog. So, check back soon!
I have to admit that while I hit a bit of post-sales goldmine while out shopping the other day, I also grabbed a couple of other cool things full price. I had returns, after all. My play money.
These green slightly flannel pants from Free People are one example.
I bought them in black a few weeks ago and fell in love. Just $68, they are comfy and stylish and have roomy pockets and cool ankle slits that help make room for boots. The fact they are a light-flannel material is a big bonus during these cold winter days. They won’t be wearable come warmer weather, but for winter, they are a big fashion score and a great price per wear!
Love being warm and stylish.
This studded belt was another great find. At just $48, it’s one of the more affordable Free People belts. I got it in black and brown. I know I will wear both a ton. The silver studs give the look a bit of rock n’ roll. I got a M/L because I like my belts long, and I can’t stand it when they rudely hug you across the midsection, especially this time of year when overindulging happens more often than not.
Get my holiday too-much-buffet-table drift?
The black ribbed Athleta shirt is from my closet. Purchased about a month ago. Love it so much that I got it in brown and dark green, too. I own ton of bottoms, but not enough tops. So, this one is a great fashion staple that also snaps all the way up for a bit of a turtleneck vibe. Athleta has been running a lot of discounts and sales lately. That’s when I purchase their quality goods.
The heeled Ugg boots are from last year. They have been a great addition to my footwear, very comfy, and I wear them a lot. Uggs are popular again this year! This style is sold out. But there are lots of other cute ones to choose from if you’re in the market. That includes less expensive brands with similar style, with good finds to be had at vintage and resale shops.
I know, ’cause that’s where I take some of mine!
Finally, for just $19.99, these large sterling silver hoops were a great find at T.J. Maxx, which has become one of my favorite places to find reasonably priced and stylish jewelry. Shhh…
Large earrings work great with my long, thick hair, and sassy, gypsy spirit.
And that’s my post-holiday haul for this week. Short and stylishly sweet.
