I’m continuing last week’s Sassy Fashionista accessories blog post focus by sharing my recent purchase of a computer travel case with a taxi motif.
I discovered the case on Saturday in a Kate Spade Outlet in Michigan on my way home from another film-festival commitment. It’s part of the popular brand’s newly released NYC Taxi theme and also includes such items as wallets.
It was love at first fashion site.
While I am a fan of Kate Spade purses, I had never been to one of their outlets before. The reduced prices on their goods were notable. As was an additional 25-percent off offered on most of the items there. A few items even offered 60 percent off!
I might have hyperventilated a bit while adding up the significant savings in my head.
Kate Spade is a major brand. The high quality of their goods is real. The colors they offered were enticing and on brand for fall, including rich tans and deep burgundy.
I was finding too much to like about that store and I had to finally say no to a few items.
But the taxi/NYC branding piece with its outside pocket grabbed my fashion heart.
So clever. So cute. So well done. On sale.
Plus, I love NYC!
I had to have it! I also grabbed a lovely pale lavender purse and a practical and stylish black travel duffel, because I am traveling a lot these days with my computer in tow. So that choice made perfect sense.
The computer case was listed at $139. After the 25 percent off, I got it for around $100. It was a fashion steal. It’s also sturdy. I love practical, stylish, and on sale.
I left the outlet happy, with two satisfying and Sassy Fashionista purchases for sure.
What was the last item that caught your eye in a store outlet? Did you buy it?
