This is about a Sassy Fashionista find in one of the hottest fashion colors for fall!
Burgandy, in all its rich shades of red and wine, goes so well with those other hot fall colors like deep greens and rich browns. Think effective accent color, too. The color does appear bit more red than wine here. That’s due to my creative, sassy play with filters.
I know I said I was done with adding coats to my closet this year; but oops, I did it again!! I couldn’t resist this beautiful Paris Cropped Faux Fur Jacket from FreePeople.com in this delicious shade of burgundy!!
This is an exciting color that I’ve been wanting to add to my wardrobe for a while but hadn’t found a piece that blew me away.
Until now.
This coat is beautiful! It’s very well made, which helps counter the reality that many faux-fur coats can look a bit cheap. Not this one. The color is vibrant, the fabric soft. It has silky pockets, and most important of all, at $148 plus tax, it’s affordable. It looks and feels much more expensive. It is a bit oversized, so I bought a medium. Might have been able to wear a small. But I like the little extra fullness. More dramatic.
I grabbed this one as soon as it showed up on the site.
Not surprisingly, this color immediately sold out, as I predicted it would. But it is also still available in another lovely color, a soft pinky Creme. I predict that one will soon sell out soon, too. But you can always put your name on the waiting list now for the wine color if that’s the one you want desire.
Because I have been traveling to many cool events and places for my film, I knew I could find lots of special places to wear this one. Red-Carpet vibes? I can also see wearing it on a cold day when I just want to feel a little extra beautiful, perhaps while summoning the creative muse over a French Vanilla Latte in a local cafe while working on my memoir.
